Competitive Insights specializes in providing companies with information to support their business decisions. We take a multi-pronged approach to creating our reports, combining information from the Internet, trade publications, research reports and local sources with interviews from professionals in the field.
Michelle Fennimore is the principal of Competitive Insights. She has over 25 years of experience in market research including nine years on Madison Avenue overseeing advertising research for national brands. Her work in New York included stints at J. Walter Thompson, Saatchi & Saatchi and Grey Advertising, conducting competitive intelligence and strategic research for companies including Procter & Gamble, General Mills, Nestle, SmithKline Beecham, Quaker Oats, Toys R Us and Freddie Mac among others.
She is a contributing author to Introduction to Online Company Research (Thomson Learning 2004) and a member of the Association of Independent Information Professionals, the American Marketing Association and the Society of Competitive Intelligence.
